UniTracker is a web-based application that enables a school or college to streamline and co-ordinate the process of their students writing their personal statement and gaining feedback from their teachers. It comprises of online lessons which teach students the importance of their university application and enables them to compose a high quality personal statement. Students can gain feedback from their teacher to ensure their personal statement is of the highest quality. At the click of a button the head of Post 16 Education can see exactly where their students are in the process.
But UCAS Apply does everything that UniTracker does?
This is not true. UCAS Apply is simply an application processing system for your school's university applications whereas UniTracker is a learning, tracking and management tool that will improve the quality of your student's personal statements. UCAS Apply does not teach your students how to write a high quality personal statement but UniTracker does. UCAS Apply does not track the progress of exactly where your students are in the personal statement writing process but UniTracker does. UCAS Apply does not enable teachers to provide detailed and constructive feedback to their students to help them improve their personal statement but UniTracker does.
